Ruth has worked as a Career Development Officer , Adjunct Lecturer at the Jamaica Theological Seminary , former Registrar at the Jamaica Theological Seminary and former missionary with Operation Mobilization . Rev . Harbajan is a Telecommunications Engineer and a member at the Portmore
Gospel Assembly . He is ordained to the ministry of the National Intercessory Prayer Network of Jamaica and plays the role of Executive Chairman . In this role he seeks to teach / equip and mobilize intercessors , with a special emphasis on children and youth intercessors . He is a part of the Global Children in Prayer movement birthed in 2002 in South Africa and has been a representative at their conferences since . He is also involved in missions and along with his wife has led many missions teams to Cuba and Belize . He also served with the Jamaica Youth For Christ on their Discover Jesus missions . He is a teacher of the word and speaks on a variety of topics , and along with his wife ministers in the areas of Relationships , Intercession , Spiritual Warfare , Children in prayer , Issues Involving Young People , Camping , Team Building etc . At the Kings of the Kingdom Session of AKTIV8 , Rev . Devon Harbajan led the men to understand themselves , to gain insight into how the difference in gender , how they see prayer , how they experience prayer , personally and corporately , may be affecting their fervency , frequency and potency in praying . Then having understood these things , not to make an excuse for a lukewarm or absent prayer life , but instead to ARISE and become everything that God intended them to be . Instead to lead from the forefront of the battle . Instead to roar like , and release the ferocity , strength and courage of a lion in the face of the enemy ; to pray and act as God bids them to in order to bring reformation in their nation and transformation in their Churches .
