Downtown
A dynamic revitalization project is bringing major businesses to Springdale ’ s downtown . Tyson Foods jump-started the revitalization effort with a one million dollar donation to the Downtown Springdale Alliance . The company is also leading the charge to bring more people to the city ’ s downtown by moving 300 of its corporate team members to Emma Avenue .
Investors are following Tyson ’ s lead with many buying historic buildings that line downtown streets . One building , the iconic Apollo Theater , will begin a second life as one of the area ’ s premier event centers . Plans for restaurants and other businesses are in the works for other buildings .
The Razorback Greenway trail is also playing a role in downtown ’ s revitalization . The trail connects downtown Springdale to neighboring cities , allowing cyclists and joggers from across Northwest Arkansas to enjoy scenic Spring Creek and Emma Avenue .

Baseball fans can catch a game at Arvest Ballpark , home of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals . The Naturals are the region ’ s only minor league baseball team .
The Jones Center for Families also hosts thousands of visitors each year . The Jones Center is home to the region ’ s only indoor ice rink and offers indoor pools , a track , chapel , fitness classes , meeting space and many other amenities , making it a hub of community activities .

Amenities like the Razorback Greenway trail , cultural events , festivals , and a low cost of living add up to make Northwest Arkansas the third-best place to live in the country according to Forbes magazine . Springdale residents enjoy some of the area ’ s largest attractions .
