You are the most enthusiastic person I know in this room." An innkeeping friend at the Innspire Summit & Marketplace this past
January, said those words to me, I liked it. This statement has the right amount of sarcasm and humor, balanced with blunt truth: simple and succinct. I’ve printed it for my office wall. It’s so I won’t forget and to remind me when I need it.
I am admittedly enthusiastic and that is who I am. It was such a great feeling that someone took notice.
But I wasn't alone. The conference was full of folks on go who were in the know and this was the place to recharge and focus. We were in good company! This past January’s Innspire Summit & Marketplace held on the Queen Mary in Long Beach CA, in fact had hundreds of us 'enthusiastic folks' onboard. The conference was the catalyst for many things like stimulating ideas, changes to the way we see and do things and of course networking and learning from our peers. Attendees learned a great deal and how to enhance the way we do things for our businesses. I saw that happen with my own eyes. I saw excitement reignited, new ideas brewing and even exhaustion from taking in so much information. Vendors worked hard selling their services and wares and meeting new customers. It was a beehive of activity and success.
They say that "great minds think aike" ...well it's good that everyone is as excited as I am about the next Summit… This enthusiastic person can’t wait to be a part of it all next year!
