Learning Spaces
At 3:00pm our whole campus transforms into a dynamic activity centre. This may
mean another colleague will utilise “your” classroom for his/her activity. Thank you in
advance for supporting the Activities programme by allowing this to happen.
Please ensure whichever space you use for your Activity is left clean, tidy and in the
layout you found it.
Basic Staff Activities
Expectation
All full-time academic staff as a part of their contractual agreement with UWCSEA
East Campus must contribute to Activities / Service during the 4 season academic
year.
PE staff are expected to be involved in the Representative Dragons Sports
Programme as coaches through all 4 seasons to support participation in ACSIS,
SEASAC and Invitational Events, this involves a commitment to all training sessions
depending on the age of the team as well as weekend tournaments and fixtures.
Primary Music teachers are expected to lead two music activities a season
throughout the year.
MS/HS Music/Drama/Dance teachers are expected to lead one year-long
ensemble/production and assist with other performances.
Staff can take on more than this basic expectation if they wish but should be mindful
of their overall work/life balance.
