Photo Credit: Benjamin Fan Editors’ welcome “Digital marketing” is a popular buzz word with many discussing it’s current importance, and the growing impact it will have in the future - we thought it might be a good idea to learn something about it. We were thrilled to discover that the AGSM Marketing Club had secured leading digital marketer Deb Jeffreys (CEO of Brilliant Blue Internet Marketing, www.bbim.com.au) to headline an event they had last month. We took this opportunity to collaborate with the President of the AGSM Marketing Club, Victoria Momsen (contact details on backpage of Star Magazine) and reached out to Deb and before we knew it, we had completed the interview featured in this issue. We have learnt just how much of a game-changer digital marketing is! In light of this success, we thought about other important issues and considered how to leverage off the hard work of others at the AGSM. We had heard that if you make an exciting story of something, people are more likely to remember it, comprehend the message, appreciate the challenge and feel the passion. Lo and behold, we had world-renowned business storytelling expert Michael Margolis (of Get Storied,www.getstoried.com) give a very special presentation to the full-time 2017 AGSM MBA cohort. And he generously agreed to an exclusive interview with us too! But we don’t want to spoil the Jeffreys and Margolis interviews for you by telling you key plot points and how they end. You’ll have to read them for yourself. Being the second edition of Star Magazine by the class of 2017, the magazine is still going through a metamorphosis, aiming to grow to infinity and beyond.
