mployees of the Agricultural Research Council
(ARC) in Stellenbosch participated in Mandela
Day 2016 by donating toiletries to the Stellenbosch Night Shelter in Cloetesville.
The shelter makes provision for 30 men and 10 women
by providing them with a warm place to sleep, two
meals a day, use of ablution facilities and access to social services. It is entirely dependent on donations from
the community to cover its running costs.
We are extremely grateful to our ARC Infruitec-
Nietvoorbij employees for opening their hearts and participating in the Nelson Mandela International Day initiative. The Institute will also be donating a few fruit trees
that will be planted at the shelter later this year.
Take Action. Inspire Change.
