Euryops begin producing their sunshine-yellow flowers in winter, and
bloom through the summer. The
shortest-flowering species that’s
commonly available is Euryops virgineus, and it’s also one of the pret-
tiest. You can trust it to give you
flowers for several months of the
year.

has green leaves and similar flowers, but grows more quickly, blooming on and off for most of the year.
Euryops can reach 1.5m tall, but
you’d usually cut them back quite
hard to rejuvenate them before
they get quite that big.

can prune quite hard, back to bare
wood, if they’ve been getting leggy.
