WAY
THE
we SEE
O
ne of my favorite
subjects to look for
when driving through the country
are the buildings and homes from
generations past that still stand
proud in pastures and forgotten
acreages. Many of these buildings
have endured the harsh Midwest
conditions for over a century.
Forgotten and neglected, their
character shows through, and
they make for some of the most
interesting photo subjects you can
find. The lone tree in this photo
grows over the fallen back half of
this building as the prairie grass
has overtaken what used to be the
old farm yard.
