AERIAL WORK PLATFORM (AWP) SAFE OPERATOR TRAINING
Aerial Work Platform (AWP) course is intended to provide training and familiarization in the basic OHSA and ANSI required safety
concepts and the procedures to help reduce workplace accidents and provides documentation of training on Boom Lift
and Scissor Lift. The course will include the following: Classroom Proficiency, AWP safe operation, Pre-shift inspection, Function
test of unit, Workplace inspection, Proper unit shutdown, Hazard recognition and avoidance, Operator maintenance & legal
requirements (29 CFR 1910 & 29 CFR 1926, ANSI A92.5 Boom- Supported Elevating Work Platforms and ANSI A92.6 Self-Propelled
Elevating Work Platforms.), Minimum Safe Approach Distance (MSAD) from Energized Power Lines, Participant exam, Operator

(CHST) CONSTRUCTION HEALTH & SAFETY TECHNICIAN PRE TEST WORKSHOP
This study seminar is designed for the development of all safety professionals in both the construction industry and general industry.
A workshop designed for personnel preparing to take the Board of Certified Safety Professionals Construction Health and Safety
Technician (C H S T) examination. Review requirements and discuss exam questions addressing the areas to be covered by this
exam. Candidates for the C H S T certification will take a self-assessment examination that will evaluate your knowledge that may
need to be better prepared for this exam. They will also learn how to use OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards and
upon completion of the workshop, participants should be able to identify their strengths, as well as areas where further study may
be required.
What is C H S T; The Construction Health and Safety Technician (C H S T) Exam is a certification examination written by the Council
on Certification of Health, Environmental, and Safety Technologists. It is designed to determine if an individual has the knowledge
necessary to work as a health and safety specialist in a construction setting. This exam assesses the individual’s understanding
of managing a construction site, training individuals in OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe work environment through worksite
audits, and ethical and legal concerns involved with the health and safety of workers at a worksite. This certification is not required
in order to work as a health and safety specialist, but it can be an extremely effective for individuals seeking careers in construction
health and safety or individuals seeking advancement in a construction-related career.
Who should attend; Any individuals responsible for the safety & health on one or more construction projects or job sites, the
owner’s rep, general contractor, and subcontractors, or firm involved in construction or construction safety.
