This course will also address local requirements within San Diego County pursuant to, among other things, San Diego’s current Climate Action Plan. An overview of global, regional and local environmental concerns driving these laws will be provided, in addition to an introduction to the U.S. Green Building Council and the San Diego local chapter. Lastly, a very general overview of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) will also be provided and discussed.
