Stormwater Training CONSTRUCTION BMP TRAINING The 4-hour SWPPP training workshop will focus on construction BMPs as required by the 2009-0009-DWQ Construction General Permit, Best Management Practices (BMPs) including BMP applications and installation techniques, site considerations for ap- propriate and effective BMPs, maintenance triggers, and will entertain any questions or comments. The workshop will include a discussion and presentation of actual BMP products in a classroom setting. This training is appropriate for QSPs, QSDs, LRPs, contractors, or anyone responsible for the selection, installation or maintenance of BMPs. The field course component will entail discussing sediment and erosion control practices at a test site provided by the AGC. Students will observe the proper installation of sediment and erosion con- trol BMPs, maintenance indicators, observe their effectiveness and limitations.
