PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This six-floor tenant improvement project within a downtown San
Diego high-rise was completed in 14 weeks. Each floor, at approximately 3,200 square feet
each, was completely cleared out and converted into office spaces, meeting rooms, and
a restaurant/café. The scope of work included new light fixtures, a new state-of-the-art
lighting control system, receptacles, wire-mold, new distribution panels, sub panels, and
transformers on all six floors. A condensed construction schedule, tight working quarters,
and limited space to store materials created some challenges; however, there were zero
recordable safety incidents, and the project exceeded the owner’s expectations.
