TECHNOLOGY TRENDS IN
CONSTRUCTION COMMITTEE
The committee identifies, explores and critiques the new
trends in which technology advancements that help make
the construction industry operate on a more efficient and
effective basis. The committee utilizes the information
generated to develop technology training events that allow
the industry to view new technologies and to be trained in
their usage.

The committee hosted a Tech Talk Luncheon during 2015 - the focus was on jobsite technologies and was titled
"Technology in the Trenches." Topics included: Constructability Review, Digital Plans in the Field, and Layout with
Total Stations.
2016 TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE
Preparations began on the Technology Conference, which will be held in the fall of 2016. The committee is once again
structuring high-profile presentations to provide knowledge and resources so contractors can continue integrating the
latest construction technology into their projects and jobsites.
