FRINGE BENEFITS AGC Fringe Benefits Programs are provided through three professionally administered trust funds. Trustees are AGC members who have the responsibility to oversee the administration and management of the funds. The funds provide health and welfare, dental, vision, insurance, and pension benefits that are customized to the San Diego construction industry. Benefits are provided for both hourly and administrative employees, and comply with California Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon requirements. EMPLOYEE HEALTH & WELFARE MEDICAL PLAN During 2016, the AGC San Diego Chapter offered four programs under its Employee Medical Plan. These programs range from basic to comprehensive coverage. The Employee Medical Plan is designed to help employers attract and retain qualified employees. The Plan provides a wide range of coverage, freedom of choice, cost savings, and meets California Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon Requirements. TRUSTEES Mitchell L. The plan is also available to those contractors whose prevailing wage work does not exceed 15% of their annual earnings. The plan can be customized for hourly contributions that meet California Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis Bacon requirements. In 2003, the AGC Employee Pension Plan added a group, 401(k) Retirement Plan, designed specifically to include prevailing-wage employer contributions. The plan provides AGC firms and their employees outstanding flexibility.
