QUALIFIED RIGGER & SIGNAL PERSON TRAINING
Attend this training to meet the new Federal OSHA standards for rigging and signaling. Correct rigging is essential to make the
lift safe. Understanding how to calculate load weights, sling angles, and knowing about wire rope are all critical for the rigger. If
you do not know the proper rigging techniques, your load could be improperly attached, and the rigging could fail. Learn the
rejection criteria for wire rope and synthetic slings as well as inspection requirements, how to rig a stable load, and how to select
the proper slings and hardware. This course meets OSHA 29 CFR 1926-1400 compliance standards for Qualified Signal Person,
identified under §1926.1428.
