Highlights from 2016 AWF
Held at the historic Old Dillard Museum in Fort
Lauderdale, the African Wardrobe Festival women’s staff
was styled with gele (head-wrap) from Nigerian designer
Patricia Holland. The elaborate and exquisite head-wraps
are becoming increasingly popular as a fashion accessory.
Every single woman on the African wardrobe Festival
staff was stunningly recognizable. They welcomed
attendees, toured the venue with them and provided
assistance when needed.
