I am able to put the knowledge I have gained to good use by providing Top Phyve athletes the best nutrition available. I am definitely here for the long haul.

ASM: We at African Sports Monthly seek to help improve the sports landscape across Africa by our in-depth stories and articles about issues that affect the development and growth of sports. What can you tell the rest of Africa about a program like TOP PHYVE and also a career choice like yours that can help to elevate sports in many other countries that do not have the capacity and knowledge that you possess in order for them to invest in such areas?

Ms. Huliamatu Bah: It’s a blessing to be able to help Top Phyve provide talented athletes with excellent nutrition and quality training. These benefits can give these athletes the same competitive edge as their American and European counterparts. There needs to be more programs that will help our continent; it’s up to us to use are knowledge and skills to help our people.

Azumah Nelson received an award from the World Boxing Council (WBC) for his contributions to the sport in October of 2017.

The Greatest African boxer of all time; (Pound for Pound) was honoured with the World Boxing Council (WBC) Champions Award at the 55th WBC Convention.

This is the second time Azumah Nelson has received an award from the WBC’s sanctioning body. The first time was when he drew down the curtains on his career.

Other awardees were former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, Middleweight Champion Bernard Hopkins and Light welterweight champion, Kostya Tszyu.

Nelson prior to his retirement had a record of 39 wins, with 28 knockouts, two (2) draws and six (6) defeats and held the WBC Featherweight and Super Featherweight titles for more than a decade

He has been actively engaged with inspiring Ghanaian high school students to focus on their studies with a programme dubbed "Time with The Professor", which he uses to interact with selected students in the various schools across the country.

Recently, he has been mentoring several young boxers including his young son Azumah Nelson Jr in the sport.
