School block

This is a 9 unit three storey block facility that provides Junior High School and Senior High School education, for students with huge potential in sports. The third floor has a hostel or rooms for residential camping.

Sanitary facility

Two 20 seater sanitary facilities are provided at vantage points in addition to washrooms at the open-air stadium. There are also washroom facilities for the disabled.

This project stands to contribute immensely to the economic development of Ghana and the future development of the youth in sports. Sporting facilities have multiple external effect on a national economy, flowing from job creation, health, productivity, national and social security among many others.

This is what the Trust Sports Emporium seeks to accomplish.

The Multi-Purpose Sports Complex is a flagship facility owned by Trust Sports Emporium Limited.

The Trust Sports Emporium Ltd is a joint venture company put together by Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and ETC Polska of Poland.

The Company seeks to;

• Promote lesser – funded sports such as Boxing, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis etc

• Develop World Champions especially in Boxing, Kick Boxing, Swimming and Basketball.

• Give opportunities to talented sportsmen and women to train and acquire an education alongside their career path.

The chiefs and people of James Town and surrounding areas like Ga Mashie, Gbese, Asere, Sempe, Akumanje, Otublohum, Korle, Mamprobi, Chorkor and Abossey Okai have expressed their joy and appreciation to Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuije, MP for Odododiodoo, Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, MP for Ablekuma South, Mr. Ernest Thompson, former Director General of SSNIT and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for putting up the Sports Complex at a site formerly used for dumping of garbage.
