justify more investment in sports. The question may seem trivial to some but, it is not when you have to make a case as to why your government should invest more in sports to give the nation a chance at success at the global stage.

Our System is simple but based heavily on empirical evidence and data collected over the years. We have also added another factor to our equation to help us draw the conclusion of which nation is the Fastest.

Currently we know that South Africa has a batch of sprinters, mostly Males that sit atop the leaderboard of fastest nations in Africa, but will that hold after our compilation and conclusion as to which nation is the fastest. Lets see!!

We decided to use the 100 meters as a measuring stick for most of our data collected. Therefore, the national records for each nation is part of this analysis.

There are the individual event records and then there are the group records (Relays). They are all computed in addition to other factors and evidence to arrive at our conclusion.

We will list the following records for you to discern which nations have been doing well individually and then collectively, to give us an idea of the presence of a pool of fast runners within that nation.

Below is the list of the Fastest Nations by National Records in the 100 Meters in both the Male and Female Categories and then the 4x100 Meters Relay in both categories as well.
