“Never hesitate” (#neverhesitate)

An International Women’s Day Message from
African Sports Monthly Magazine

t’s your God given right to become who you want to be in life. Your gender should never make you
doubt or limit yourself because someone says so. On this international women’s day in 2016 we at
African Sports Monthly Magazine is daring every girl, young lady and woman out there to “Never
Hesitate” to go after their dreams to be part of what some view as a male dominated domain (Sports).

‘Africa is Rising’; and that’s been the narrative for the last few years and for a good reason it is rising and
we want women across Africa to embrace that narrative of “Africa Rising” to be part of that ascent to a
better life, a better relationship and a better outlook in life.
In life many will challenge you and even try to stop you from achieving your dreams Those challenges
and hardships are meant to strengthen you, not stop you. If you stop then you would not only have
given them the upper hand over you, but you would have essentially surrendered your dreams to a
better you and a better life.

You have to remember that life is full of ups and downs and for you our African women, and girls who
live in an oppressive chauvinistic setting keep striving, so that you will one day break out of that
bondage you find yourself in. We stand with you to never give in and “Never Hesitate” to complete your
life’s task by fulfilling every bit of your dreams and ambitions.
On this International Women’s Day in 2016, our message to all Women Sports Administrators, athletes,
and fans is ‘Never Hesitate” to keep going, till you get to your rightful destination.
