Jefferey and .416 Rigby were great cartridges, but as they were
“proprietary” brands, saw relatively limited use and were not the sort
of calibers that a working hunter or farmer was likely to buy.

Hunter Magazine, we’ll start by looking at the truly great classics
and then moving on to some of the more popular, although not truly
“classic” calibres, not only discussing the cartridges’ strengths,
weaknesses and history, but also some basic loading data using
South African manufactured propellants.
