giving life to Nyati as it neared completion.
The book’s 448 pages contain in-depth information, advice and
instruction on the buffalo’s natural history, hunting tips, shot
placement, calibres and bullets, trophy judgement, accessories
for the hunt and safari organisation. There’s a chapter on
buffalo hunting with a bow or handgun, the art of tracking,
trophy photography, and the field-preparation of trophies for the
taxidermist, and a few stories of the hunt ... some serious and some
humorous, but all educational. And further, all are supported by
pages and pages – and pages – of superb photographs including
three extensive colour sections. There is, in fact, nothing left to
my mind that could still be included.
