This conference day will offer practical information on how Nigeria can become a cement export nation through improving cement strength and durability, and the sustainability of structures. A supporting program will be introduced for the first time at the forthcoming BAUMA Conexpo Africa, which will take place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre from September 15 to 18. In addition to country specials and industry specials, Master Builders South Africa is holding its Annual Conference to coincide with the second edition of the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles. Nigeria has a robust portfolio of infrastructure projects with a total value of almost $100 billion. The two conference days dedicated to construction and infrastructure development in the country and region, will have sessions focused on: gaining access to project capital; how to successfully build megacity’s in West Africa through bulk housing development and the creation of transportation nodes; innovation in design and building material; and how to leverage the growth of Nigeria’s energy sector through construction projects. Nigeria’s premium heavy construction machinery expo will showcase a wide variety of products ranging from heavy equipment to machinery for the construction sector. The event is dedicated to the construction machinery sector and will provide an invaluable platform for both the user of heavy equipment as well as for manufacturers, distributors and agents.
