be utilised as outside space by the
new restaurants that will occupy
both buildings. The space is further
enhanced by a sculpture by Angus
Taylor.
The new building houses ± 1000m²
of retail space, while 271 parking
bays were accommodated in a
basement and three above ground
levels. Above the parking levels a
podium level was created that houses
the first level of apartments and an
outside entertainment area for the
apartments, which includes a play
and garden area with a braai area
for the residents to the side. The 142
apartments are accommodated over
eight levels.
