LAUNCH OF A Q What are the sizes of the two South African Starbucks stores? The interior of the Mall of Africa branch is 290m2 while the Rosebank branch is 300m2 inside and 175m2 outside. Q 22 What is the most noticeable feature of the interiors? A key piece in our Mall of Africa store is the wooden Siren Wall. This piece was designed by Starbucks and depicts the Starbucks siren’s hair in motion and explains the history and story of the brand, from its origins in Seattle. Cape Town-based artists, Kurt Pio is responsible for the painted art on the wall. The piece celebrates our heritage, our values and long history with coffee through the craftsmanship of local artists. In our Rosebank store it would be the Copper Wall artwork.
