In Closing the world’s buildings The Torre Galatea, in Figueras, Catalonia, Spain, was constructed in 18491850, the building initially serving as Municipal Theatre of Figueres. The museum was officially reopened in 1974 and named after surrealist painter Salvador Dali’s wife and muse, Gala.
