Urko Sanchez Architects is an award- winning Kenya and Spain-based boutique architectural firm renowned for excellence in design . Born and raised in Madrid , Spain , Urko Sanchez began his architectural studies in 1988 . It took him 10 years to complete his coursework due to his passion for travel . “ From the time I was very young , I have always loved travelling ,” says Urko . “ I ’ ve been to more than 40 countries .” From Canada to Argentina , from India to Africa , Urko has seen a great deal of the world .

Consequently , travel has informed much of his life and his work – all of the colours , art , people and cultures he has been exposed to , adding to a sense of what Urko envisioned to build for himself and others .
