GRASSLAND GARDEN including butterflies. This plant which flowers into winter has been planted on the outer edges of the mounding as it requires little water. The small tree of natural seeps and streams in grassland, Leucosidea sericea (Ouhout), is doing well close to the lawn. The red-flowered perennial, Gerbera jamesonii (Barberton daisy), which grows naturally in well- drained grassland areas and the orange- flowered perennial, Crocosmia aurea (Falling Stars), provide stunning splashes of colour between the grasses. A final comment by the SALI judges was that this was a remarkable project, well executed and one of the designs that left a lasting impression.
