SABLE PARK
their simple geometry and
cloaking façade treatment.
“The shapes of the entire
building in fact glide around
each other within the precinct,
with there being no sense
of the presence of doors
and windows. The arrival
in the entrance area is a
recess in the form and an
intrusion of the urban and
landscape gestures into the
main geometry. The main
formal concept is a series
of three-dimensional forms
cut into thirds and with a
double-volume layered mass
interacting with a single-
volume crystalline glass cube.
Both masses shuffle above
a subdued ground plane.
What stands out for me is
the architectural slab that
disconnects the building.
