Back to nature The site placement of the buildings in terms of levels as well as the pockets of planting created on suspended slabs allows the landscaped areas to be optimally increased for the maximum natural coverage . Growth screens have been included on all buildings to provide green facades over a period of time .
During the initial planning stages of the project , the client endorsed the concept of a biophilic approach and reconciliation ecology for the development . The team then actively sought out methods for implementation , in terms of the relation of the buildings to the landscaped site , ‘ green ’ facades , rooftop gardens , the peripheral densification of trees and the experience of the external landscape while one is within the building environment .
