Guinea's proximity to the equator and the hot
climatic conditions necessitated the study of sun
directions and consequent design of shading

INTERIOR ETHOS OF GUINEA
The exquisite interiors of the Grand Conakry
Sheraton were designed and brought to life by
Cobico Inc. who specialise in creating luxury
interior design, mainly for high-end hotels and
residence. The creative team have sourced arts and
crafts that form an inherent part of the Guinean
ethos.
Pulling in colours popular to the region with a mix
of natural and manufactured materials, the interior
design melts seemingly into the cool calm exterior.
The Sheraton offers much needed job opportunities
for the locals, while offering a safe, world class
haven for business tourists.
The Sheraton Grand Conakry is not only a beauty in
the eye, it is actually the first IFC Green rated hotel
in Africa.
