Who is Simotwo Zainabu
Simotwo Zainabu is a social
entrepreneur born and bred in
Kenya. She is currently a Mandela
Rhodes Scholar and pursuing her
Master's Degree in Mathematical
She has over four years’ experience
in the non-profit sector and she is
currently working with education,
Civic leadership, Entrepreneurship,
and technology initiatives in Kenya.

South Africa.
She is a co-founder of Mashinani
Hub a mobile solar-powered hub
She is also a Mandela Washington
Fellow by President Barack Obama,
former member of the Global Youth
that provides internet connectivity
and electricity to youths in the rural
areas.
Council Youth Service America,
former regional Ambassador of Girl
Rising and United Nations University
for peace Fellow on strengthening
tools for Women’s education on
disarmament.
She is also the Founder of African
Girl Voice, an initiative that
empowers and mentor girls by
building their confidence and
helping them stay in school.
