Isaiah 45:1-7 (NIV)

1 “This is what the Lord says to his anointed,

to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of
to subdue nations before him
and to strip kings of their armor,
to open doors before him
so that gates will not be shut:

2 I will go before you
and will level the mountains;

I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.

3 I will give you hidden treasures,

riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

4 For the sake of Jacob my servant,

of Israel my chosen,
I summon you by name
and bestow on you a title of honor,
though you do not acknowledge me.

5 I am the Lord, and there is no other;

apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,

6 so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.

I am the Lord, and there is no other.

7 I form the light and create darkness,

I bring prosperity and create disaster;

I, the Lord, do all these things.

O Lord, THANK YOU. Heavenly Father, You are my Lord.

Thank You. For:

strengthening me

helping me

upholding me

telling me do not fear

calling me in righteousness

keeping me

making me light

making blind eyes open

freeing the captives

releasing those in darkness

subduing nations

stripping armor

opening doors

hidden treasure

summoning me…by name!

strengthening me

There is none besides You, the LORD. We praise Your Holy Name, Father. You told us, so we know there is none besides You, O LORD. Hold our hands, Father. Be our comfort as you walk with us, hand in hand, healing us, freeing us, strengthening us. Today. Tomorrow. Forever and ever. In Jesus Name. Amen

*Isaiah 41:13 (NIV)

13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

*Isaiah 42:6-9 (NIV)

6 “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;

I will take hold of your hand.

I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles,

7 to open eyes that are blind,

to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

8 “I am the Lord; that is my name!

I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols.

9 See, the former things have taken place,

and new things I declare;

before they spring into being I announce them to you.”
