NEWS in brief Botswana Mmathethe Moves to Alleviate Water Shortage Kanye — Residents of Mmathethe have dispatched a delegation to meet the Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources Mr Kitso Mokaila to find ways of alleviating water shortage in the village. This was after the Member of Parliament for Mmathethe/ Molapowabojang constituency Dr Alfred Madigele met with village elders recently to come up with ways of rectifying the water situation. Water Ministers from the seven member states of IGAD, i.e., Ethiopia, South Sudan, Sudan, Kenya, Djibouti, Uganda and Tanzania are attended the meeting.
