Independent research into
community perceptions
The ASB commissioned Colmar Brunton to
conduct independent research into community
perceptions about advertisements directed
primarily to children. An online survey of 1,209
people was conducted. Findings showed a high
level of agreement between participants and
the determinations made by The Advertising
Standards Board (the Board). The research
