“DO YOU
THINK YOUR
OHV CAN
HANDLE THE
RUBICON?”
RUBICON TRAIL
This is the Mac Daddy of all trails. Featured on
countless 4x4 commercials and coveted by all rid-
ing enthusiasts, the Rubicon Trail is nothing short
of that heart-pumping, adrenaline-rushing, thrill-in-
ducing feeling we’ve been in search of all along.
With entrances at Lake Tahoe and Loon Lake, the
trail system has seen Jeeps from all over the coun-
try trying to conquer its unique terrain since the
early 1900s. Now, with many efforts in place, the
trail system is maintained and preserved to offer
the finest terrain around for those unstoppable thrill
seekers.
Here, you’ll find yourself fighting giant boulders,
veering towards steep ledges, rolling into deep
mud holes, and scaling flat rock slabs. If you think
your vehicle can handle the test of the Rubicon,
then bring it to the trails to meet its fate. If you do n’t
feel like putting your pride and joy up against this
rider’s slice of heaven, then take someone else’s
OHV – literally. There are guided trips available,
and after they’re done showing you how to shred
the trails, they’ll even party with you, too! Visit
www.rubicontrail.org for more information.
Nervous? We don’t blame you. But one thing is for
sure, if you were looking for the best of the best in
tough terrain, you found it here. Make sure you in-
vest in a guided tour if you’ve never tackled this
type of ground before. These trails are not recom-
mended for beginners, but they are something to
put on your bucket list. When you finally muster up
the courage to master these trail systems, our hats
will be off to you!
