We, the Adventure Outdoors team of David-Jacobs
Publishing Group, are more than excited to bring
you this 2016 summer issue of Adventure Outdoors
Magazine. Inside this issue, you will find current
travel events and top destinations to discover, as
well as the 411 on how to doomsday prep, and what
to do to help a military service member in need. In
addition, you’ll notice a beautiful piece celebrating
our National Park Service, and trending outdoor
activities that are surely worth a try.
The participation of Jeremy Wade has made this
issue truly unique. Jeremy is an expert angler,
biologist, and host – and “fish detective” – of Animal
Planet’s #1 series, River Monsters. Jeremy has been
busy exploring the world’s most remote bodies of
water, in search of rare or unidentifiable species that
we animatedly refer to as the “monsters.” In every
episode, Jeremy keeps us on the edges of our
seats, peering between our fingers to see what he’s
caught. In between filming and traveling, Jeremy
was able to provide us with an exclusive interview
in which he offers up his personal experiences and
expert advice. Tremendous gratitude goes out to
Jeremy for his contributions; thank you, Jeremy!
