Preparing for the Worst
When it comes to sticky situations, or times where we find
ourselves in a predicament, we often use critical thinking
skills to find a solution. Whether we’re trying to change a
flat tire, or trying to survive a natural disaster, it is expected
for us to become frustrated, and even a little panicky. The
best thing we can do is prepare ourselves for the worst,
so when problems arise, we can handle them with ease,
and if (knock on wood) the worst ever does rear its ugly
head, we know how to handle that, too.
Take this advice, study it, and apply it daily. It will not only
help you prepare for the worst, but it will also steer you
away from bad advice that is often given out by inexperi-
enced people. It is often said, “you never really know what
you’ll do until you’re put in that situation.” While this is true,
it is never a bad idea to prepare for multiple scenarios.
Practice makes perfect, but in this case, we hope you
never have to deal with anything more than a simulation.
