For a tad more strenuous adventure, connect to the Foothills Trail at Table Rock and follow the path to Sassafras Mountain, the highest elevation point in SC, which offers visitors an aerial view of a vast mountainscape, covering everything from Tennessee to North Carolina. The view cannot be beat, and best of all- it’s also accessible by car! Another stunning view that is easily accessible by those of all ages is Twins Falls (aka Eastatoe Falls). This massive double waterfall is only a fif- teen-minute hike from the parking shelter. How about whitewater rafting and canopy zip-lining over the Chat- tooga River! A comfortable drive from town, Wildwater Co. offers rafting and lining combos for a day filled with new experiences. If you have some time leftover, stop by the Botanical Gar- dens on the way back into town.
