Surrounded by the Chugach Mountains and nestled alongside Prince
William Sound, the natural beauty and breathtaking views in Valdez

During summer and fall, while onboard one of the glacier and
wildlife cruise vessels, you can experience the thunderous sound
glaciers make as ice breaks away. See orca and humpback whales
thrive in their natural environment as they return each year. While
on a fishing charter, experience an adrenaline rush as you reel in
the big one. Whether halibut, salmon, rockfish or lingcod is your
fish of choice, Valdez is an anglers’ paradise. Back on shore, watch
bears roam freely or take in the scenic views as you hike the many
trails winding throughout the Chugach Mountains. You can also
experience the scenic splendor of the area from the air during a
helicopter flightseeing tour.
