Embracing the Great Outdoors
with some Trout Town Beer.
The small town of Roscoe is known for its fly fishing,
camping, the Roscoe Diner and of course, trout. So it
didn’t surprise anyone when Roscoe, NY was awarded The
Ultimate Fishing Town USA in 2011 by the World Fishing
Network. Shortly after that the folks of the Roscoe NY Beer
Company, with their passion for craft beer and deep-rooted
love for their hometown, started to pour into the craft beer
scene with their flagship brew, Trout Town American
Amber Ale.
The brewery’s love for the great outdoors is prevalent with
their line of Trout Town Hand Crafted Beers. In addition
to their flagship brew, you can also enjoy their Trout
Town Eagle IPA, the Whitetail Pale Ale with a gentle hop
finish, a local favorite the Rainbow Red Ale and their Trout
Town Brown Ale with its chocolate and coffee flavors. The
brewery also offers several seasonal and specialty beers, all
perfect for enjoying around the camp fire or after a long
day of fishing, snowshoeing or hiking the beautiful Catskill
Mountains.
The brewery quickly outgrew its original 400 square foot
space, and has expanded into a large tasting room, bar
and lounge, incorporating all the wonderful aspects of the
outdoors have to offer.
Walking into this beautiful
replica of a hunter’s lodge,
you will quickly start to
wander around and admire
the artwork, antiques and
trinkets on the walls of the lounge area. You can’t miss
the 300 gallon fish tank in the middle of the brewery,
housing several types of native trout. You can even
watch head brewer, Josh Hughes, through the glass
windows of the lounge as he works his magic.
