Over the next 22 years Lee worked for ministries he loved including two national non-profit organizations. It was while working for one of the organizations that he was asked to move from the Midwest to Colorado Springs.

It was there that Lee unexpectedly found a broken community of men that really changed the trajectory of his life. Lee will say that it was “the proof of the gospel for him”

It was in this community where Lee began to understand his story. It was something he could have told you from cover to cover with details but was not a story he understood. Challenged by a counselor, Lee started doing the hard work of understanding the ramifications of his childhood abuse, growing up without a father and who the Father really was.

Lee has told his story in conferences and ministries across the US and in Africa. He currently is the men’s ministry director at his church and works with a college age mentoring ministry called Training Ground, www.trainingground.com
