Financial assistance up to $20,000 per
home is available. The assistance is in the
form of a grant or forgivable loan.
The Home Adaptations for Independence
(HAFI) program provides financial
assistance to help eligible low-income
seniors and people with disabilities in B.C.
to continue to live in the comfort of their
home. The program is for homeowners or
for landlords.
As you age your physical needs change,
and you may need to modify your home
environment. Modifying a home improves
accessibility and promotes safe
independent living.
