Learn about the history and cultural significance of this unique dye as you use it to color a t-shirt, scarf, shawl or bag. A materials fee of $7–16 (depending on the item you choose) is payable to instructor. You may dye more than one item during class for an additional materials fee. Bring plastic bags to take home your project, a large towel that you don't mind getting dye on, and a small hand towel. You may also bring an apron and gloves if you wish.
