Age: 8-18
Glen Ellyn Youth Rugby is open to children from 3rd grade to senior year of High School.
Beginners are welcome at all age groups. We emphasize individual and team skill development,
teamwork, sportsmanship, rugby etiquette and conditioning. Practice season starts mid-March
(weather permitting) and the season runs through “State Championship” weekend (1st weekend

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Stingers & Ducks participants are also required
to register with USA Rugby and pay a separate $45 fee. Please visit www.geyouthrugby.org for
directions on how to register. The regular registration deadline is March 9. A $75 fee will be
charged for cancellations beginning March 10.

Rookie Rugby: Grades 3-4
Held at Spring Avenue Recreation Center
Rookie Rugby is a non-contact camp for 3rd & 4th graders. We emphasize individual and team
skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, rugby etiquette and conditioning. A mouth guard
and soccer/football cleats required. Participants are also required to register with USA Rugby
