HOUSE SOCCER HOUSE SOCCER SEASON: FALL 2019 About the Program AF Grade: Pre-K to 10 House league soccer is a Glen Ellyn Park District program run with the assistance of Glen Ellyn Youth Soccer Organization (GEYSO). The program teaches soccer skills while promoting good sportsmanship, physical conditioning and having fun. There are nine age levels for boys and girls. The program relies solely on volunteer parents to coach and coordinate teams. Additional information about the program can also be found at www.gepark.org/house-soccer. (bt) © Daniela D'Argento PRACTICES: Start the week of August 19, 2019 Program Contact BRAD THOMAS [email protected] [phone] x 1148 GAMES: Saturdays: August 24, 2019 to October 19, 2019 (No Games: 9/28, Rainout Day: 10/26) Games are played at Ackerman Park on Saturdays between the hours of approximately 8A and 2P. Practices are held once a week for one hour according to the volunteer coach’s schedule. Practice locations are also dependent on coach’s availability. All practices are held within Glen Ellyn. Pre-K soccer will play on Saturdays only, with teams practicing prior to game kick-off. TEAM NOTIFICATION: Parents will be notified of their child’s team beginning August 16, 2019. Please contact us if you have not heard from a coach by August 19, 2019. Children on the waiting list will only be placed if players are needed to complete teams.
