ADULT CHEERLEADING & SENIOR CHEERLEADING Golden Eagles Football and Competitive Cheerleading AF Grade: 2-8 (as of 8/31/19) This two-fold program for girls and boys includes sideline cheering and halftime routines at the Golden Eagles Tackle and Flag Football games as well as participation in cheer competitions in the Chicagoland area. We teach technical cheer fundamentals along with short dance and cheer routines. Cheerleaders learn skills including stunting, tumbling, and a variety of jumps. Each squad cheers weekly during football season and competes in Illinois Recreational Cheer Association (IRCA) sanctioned competitions. While no prior experience is necessary, it is helpful to have dance or gymnastics skills. However, nothing can replace a good attitude, a sparkling smile and a commitment to your teammates.
