ADULT & SENIOR TRIPS Shipshewana Quilt Show & Flea Market Chicago Botanic Garden Carillon Concert Start/end at The Abbey – 407 W. St. Charles Rd. Elmhurst Start/end at Maryknoll Park Age: 21 & Up We’re heading to Shipshewana, IN where you’ll be able to spend the afternoon visiting either the Quilt Festival, Flea Market, Downtown area or a combination of all three. This trip provides transportation only so you can make the most of your time by doing what you want to do. The Quilt Show will feature approximately 200 quilts. The Flea Market has hundreds of vendors selling everything from pillowcases to produce. Downtown you’ll find quaint shops, buggy rides and the restaurants where you can grab lunch or some fresh baked goods. The bus will drop off and pick up at each location. Please note there will be significant walking and standing on this trip. Fee includes transportation only. Quilt Show admission, lunch and any purchases are on your own. This is a cooperative trip with the Elmhurst Park District. Min/Max: 8/20. Carillonneurs from around the world delight Garden visitors with the captivating music of the 48-bell Theodore C. Butz Memorial Carillon while lights illuminate Evening Island. Also included is a tram tour of the gardens and a seasonal dinner buffet under the stars. They face the real and often comical struggles of life in this funny and touching semi-autobiographical play by Tom Dudzick.
