Held at Lake Ellyn Park
We have a variety of boats to experience in the water.
Instructions can be given on dry land before you try our
canoes, kayaks, or a pedal boat. Venture out and enjoy
the beauty of Lake Ellyn from the water. (md)

Movies in the Parks
THROWBACK EDITION
Grab your blankets and lawn chairs! The Park District
is excited to once again offer our FREE “Movies in the
Parks” series this summer. A twist on this year’s features,
throwback to years past! Join us before the movie for
a special activity beginning at 8:15pm, and dress up like
your favorite character from the movie for a costume
contest at each event! Most features begin between
8:30pm-9pm*. Rain Date: Friday, August 16. (jr)

Gone Fishin' Derby
Saturday, June 15 • 8am-9:30am
Held at Lake Ellyn Park
Age: All. Come down to the watering hole and bring
your favorite poles and pals for our annual catch-
and-release fishing derby! You’ll have an hour to
catch as many fish as you can, but don’t forget to try
and get the big one. We’ll award trophies for Largest
Fish Caught, Smallest Fish Caught, Most Fish Caught
and Best Dressed Fisherman. All children must
be accompanied by an adult. Fee is per child and
includes bait, snacks and activities. Fishermen must
supply their own fishing poles. Pre-registration is
required, NO walk-up registration. Max: 50. (jr)
