Create summer slime in the concoction lab then learn the science of “splat” during splat ball scatter, and finally compare/contrast the properties of squishy toys to the human body. Kids can become an expert on this beloved treat as we make a batch of homemade ice cream. Explore the science of the amusement park treat, Dippin’ Dots, then sit down for the most outrageous ice cream eating contest in town. This class and all about putting the fun back into learning while exploring both Chemical and Industrial Engineering concepts, along with how this treat evolved. Don’t wear your Sunday best to this event, we will get sticky! Lots of tastings and a themed souvenir included. Kids can become a history and science expert on this beloved bubbly drink as we produce a batch of root beer. Next, the class will cast their vote for BEST ROOT BEER IN TOWN as they taste test a flight of 5 different unidentified sumptuous foamy brands. Finally, kids will complete their experience by preparing their own customized “black cow” (root beer float)! This is a child’s dream class and all about putting the fun back into learning.
